Senses, STEM and Social: Outdoors

When: Fridays in June/July 9:30 – 11 am
Where: Meet outdoors at Kimbourne
Let’s meet outside and explore the natural world around us. We’ll use our Senses to experience the sights, sounds, smells, feelings and even tastes that nature offers us. This STEM-informed program will also help us make connections between the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math that we see every day and to which we can contribute our own ideas and understandings of our world. Lastly, and arguably most important considering the climate of the last two years, children will have the opportunity to engage with other three and four year olds, with whom they can develop meaningful relationships and lasting friendships.
Join us on our weekly neighbourhood walks from Kimbourne to Monarch Park and East Lynn Park every Wednesday, starting May 4th, from 930am – aprox. 11:00am.
If you have any accessibility requests or concerns, please let us know ahead of time so we can do our best to accommodate everyone and adapt the program and logistics accordingly.
