Outdoor Programming Q & A

Q: What happens during outdoor programming?
A: Our staff bring toys that are suitable for outdoor play out onto the lawn. These include small toddler slides, hockey & soccer nets, vehicles, sidewalk chalk, books, etc. Now that winter has arrived, we’re looking at new equipment options. Items are sanitized after each program. Screening for each person is required on arrival, hands must be cleaned and participants are required to be socially distanced from people who are not in their family or caregiving group.
Q: Is it OK for families to arrive late or leave early?
A: Absolutely! We’re here for you, so come when it works, within the scheduled hours.
Q. Will masks be required?
A. As of September 3rd, EarlyON Operating Guidelines from the Ministry of Education have dropped the masking requirement for outdoor programs.
Q. Will washrooms and diaper changing facilities be available?
A. Yes.
Q. is this an all-weather program?
A. As of the end of November, we’re still offering some outdoor programming. We’re waiting to see if the demand diminishes as the temperatures drop and the snow arrives. Please contact us to request outdoor programs on as as-needed basis and we will do our best to work with you.
